Georgetown Prep claims 25th consecutive IAC Swimming & Diving title

Georgetown Prep extended its historic dynasty at the 2026 IAC Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday, securing its 25th consecutive title with 605 points, easily surpassing St. Albans in second with 498. Landon took third with 355 points, followed by Bullis at 235.

The Little Hoyas dominated the pool, setting seven meet records. Senior Andrew Vanas concluded his illustrious IAC career by eclipsing his own 2024 records in both the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle.

The duo also fueled record-breaking performances in the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays. Other Georgetown Prep individual champions included sophomore James Kratz (200 IM/500 Free) and junior Brandon Bedestani (100 Breaststroke). Senior George Shannon of Landon broke the 1-meter diving record with 293.80 points.
