Bullis wins 3rd consecutive title at the 2026 IAC Track & Field Championships
Host Bullis School won its third straight title at the Interstate Athletic Conference (IAC) Track and Field Championships on Saturday with a score of 206 points, ahead of St. Albans in second place with 158 points.
The meet marked the final high school competition for Bullis senior Quincy Wilson. The 2024 Olympic gold medalist finished his prep career by winning both the 400-meter dash and the 300-meter hurdles.
Junior Cameron Homer of Bullis won both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes. setting two IAC meet records in the process. His times of 104.8 seconds in the 100-meter dash and 20.9 seconds in the 200-meter dash broke records set by Rashaad Woodward of Bullis in 2003. Runners-up St. Albans also broke two meet relay records. The quartet of Joshua Allen, Kenechi Emuwa, Xixi Espinoza, and Nelson Pittman set a new 4x100-meter relay record with a time of 42.25 seconds. In the meet's final event, Joshua Allen, Kenechi Emuwa, Xixi Espinoza, and Joshua Taylor combined to set a new 4x400-meter relay standard with a finish of 3:19.32.
Senior Charlie Palmore of St. Albans also had a dominant day in his last IAC meet, winning the 800-meter, 1600-meter, and 3200-meter runs, while also contributing to the winning 4x800-meter relay team.
In addition to the individual titles from Wilson and Homer, Bullis secured key victories from Chase Elliott in the 100-meter hurdles and Christian Matthews in the High Jump to help secure the team championship.
