Landon alumnus Tyler Perkins selected pre-season Rookie of the Year in the Ivy League

2023 Landon graduate Tyler Perkins has been selected pre-season Rookie of the Year in the Ivy League by the City of Basketball Love, which covers Philadelphia-area basketball for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Perkins, a 6-4 guard who is expected to start immediately for the University of Pennsylvania, was named the IAC Player of the Year in his senior year, leading Landon to a 19-10 overall record (7-3 in IAC play) and an appearance in the IAC championship game. Perkins, who averaged 25 points and 6.7 rebounds for the season, was also named First-Team All-Met by the Washington Post.
